Jhatpat Seekh Paneer



Cottage cheese  (paneer)- 10 triangular pieces
Capsicum (Shimla mirch) – 10 pieces, medium in size
Turmeric (Haldi) – ½ tsp
Red chili powder – ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Butter – 1-2 tbsp
Chaat masala as per taste


  • Add a table spoon of  butter to paneer pieces .
  • Sprinkle turmeric,  red chili powder and salt to paneer and mix well. Leave for 5-10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile fry capsicum pieces.
  • Fry marinated paneer on non stick tawa with little butter .
  • Pass pieces of fried paneer and capsicum through a toothpick and sprinkle some chaat masala all over.
