Bandh Gobhi Pakoda (Cabbage Pakoda)


Cabbage (Bandh gobhi or patta gobhi) : 1 cup, finely shredded
Onions: ¼ cup, finely chopped
Green chilies: 2 -3, finely chopped
Ginger paste : ½ tbsp
Coriander leaves, finely chopped
Turmeric powder (Haldi): ½ tsp
Gram flour (Besan): 4 tbsp
Red chili powder – ½ tsp
Garam masala : a pinch
Coriander powder : ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking


  • Cut cabbage finely and rub salt to it.
  • After 20 to 30 minutes remove all the water left by cabbage.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Make small balls out of the mix
  • Deep fry these balls in hot oil.
  • Serve hot with any chutney of your choice.
