Chatpata Aloo Pakoda (Spicy Potato Puffs)


Boiled potatoes – 2 medium sized
Bread – 2-3 slices
Coriander leaves, finely chopped
Green chillies – 2-3
Onions chopped – 3-4 tbsps
Red chilli achar (pickle)  masala – 2-3 tsps
Sooji (Semolina) – 2 tbsps
Salt to taste
Any cooking oil


  • Boil, peel and mash potatoes.
  • Add mashed bread slices.
  • Add and mix the remaining ingredients.
  • Make balls out of the mixture and deep fry till they are golden.
  • Serve hot with chutney.

Serves/Makes – 3-4
